Our 3003 Anti-Rust Aluminum Sheet is a manganese alloyed grade that delivers approximately 20% greater strength than 1100 pure aluminum while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance. At 1.5mm thickness, this versatile sheet combines superior formability with outstanding weldability, making it the top choice for chemical storage tanks, building roofing systems, and general sheet metal fabrication.
- Manganese Strengthened: 1.0-1.5% manganese alloying provides 20% higher strength than commercially pure 1100 aluminum without compromising corrosion resistance
- Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Outstanding performance in atmospheric, freshwater, and mild chemical environments, ideal for outdoor applications
- Superior Formability: Readily formed by bending, deep drawing, spinning, and roll forming operations
- Good Weldability: Easily welded using TIG, MIG, and resistance welding techniques with 4043 or 5356 filler wire
